The Vonvarda Cattery was developed in 2000 to blend in with our one acre of gardens. We are located on the east coast of Scotland in a rural setting overlooking the sea where our cats and kittens can enjoy the fresh Scottish air and local spring water. We are close to the A1 approximately half way between Edinburgh and Berwick-upon-Tweed and about 3 miles south of the town of Dunbar, East Lothian, Scotland.  

We specialise in breeding Ragdoll kittens from 100% traditional lines as it is our aim to preserve the original type and temperament of the Ragdoll Breed. Our Ragdolls can regularly be seen at GCCF Cat Shows in Scotland and England as we strive to promote the Ragdoll Breed. We look forward to giving the public the opportunity to meet our Ragdoll cats and kittens at the Cat Shows and are very proud of the titles that our Ragdolls have achieved in the few years that we have been showing.

Our on site pet shop can provide all you will need for your new  kitten. Pet carriers, litter trays & litter, beds, scratch posts, grooming aids  and  a wide range of cat toys all at very competitive prices. New kittens all leave us with a free kitten pack which includes a sample of the food they have been brought up on.

Our prefix “VONVARDA” is registered with The Governing Council of the Cat Fancy “The GCCF”. We are  registered breeders  with The Traditionalist Ragdoll Cat Society and members of  The British Ragdoll Cat Club and various other Cat Clubs within Scotland and  the North East of England.

All our Ragdoll cats and kittens are GCCF registered and bred only in the “traditional” seal and blue colours using the three patterns - colourpoint , mitted and Bi-colour.
