Our Ragdoll kittens are born in our house in our specially adapted nursery (which was once a guest room).  We have baby monitors in the house to ensure we can hear everything that is going on in the nursery. Once the kittens start to become mobile and begin exploring the use of their wobbly legs to find the food dish, they move with their mum to our purpose built, three roomed kitten house. In the kitten house the kittens at around four weeks will have ample space to start their litter box training.  The kitten house rooms are all heated and give a bright, safe and spacious environment for the kittens (and mum) to play with a variety of interactive toys, baby play gyms, scratch posts and other cat toys and playthings.

All the rooms and corridor within our kitten house are hoovered and washed daily. We do not allow people to handle the kittens until after they have had their first vaccination. Please do not be offended by this since it is in the best welfare of everyone’s  kitten. Each kitten house room has its own weldmesh front so you can easily observe all the kittens interacting with their mum and their littermates.
OUR NURSERY
All our kittens are handled and groomed daily. This ensures the kittens are well used to being brushed and picked up. We normally allow litters to take turn at playing in the corridor which gives them the opportunity to become used to meeting other cats and kittens within the kitten house. This eventually will aid the kitten to easily adapt to a new home shared with other cats.

All our kittens leave to go to their new homes after their second vaccination. They are all GCCF Registered, wormed, litter trained, fully vaccinated and insured for the first four weeks. A bag of the food they have been brought up on is supplied with each kitten.
